The kids are Eclectic Girl, or EG, a fifth grader who is 11; Fabulous Boy, also known as FB, now 7 and in in first grade; and Purple Child, or PC, 3, who is a lesson in why you should be careful who or what shares your child's name.

That is a great umbrella! My kids would go crazy for that thing. Though they would never need it (eyes rolling).
